GAC EVENTS

Annual Meeting

The annual meeting is a more personal gathering of members where we present the current events pertaining to ag, and more specifically, how we are addressing those issues. This reception is an opportunity for members to connect with other members, become educated on the issues, and to see how they can get more involved.

This year's event takes place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at The Embassy Suites Centennial, Atlanta, GA. GAC Hotel accommodations are with the Embassy Suites - Click Here To Book A Room.

Legislative Breakfast

The Georgia Agribusiness Council's annual Legislative Breakfast, will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2023 at 7:30 a.m. at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot, which is a chance for members to "meet and greet" with their state legislators and get an update on the issues impacting the state in regards to agriculture and other ag-related issues. Governor, Lieutenant Governor, House Speaker, Agriculture Commissioner and a host of other elected state leaders have all been past speakers. This event takes place each February when the Georgia General Assembly is in session.

Harvest Celebration

GAC’s Harvest Celebration provides an opportunity for leaders from every commodity group and service sector to gather in a festive salute to Georgia’s diverse agribusiness industry. The evening’s activities include a silent auction and a unique Field of Dreams reception that precede dinner, live auction and entertainment. All proceeds support the Council’s program of work, which includes legislative monitoring, agricultural education, economic services, agribusiness development, public outreach initiatives and coalition building within the agricultural community. This year's Harvest Celebration was held on November 17, 2023 at the Classic Center in Athens and it was another great success with The Kinchafoonee Cowboys performing!

Harvest Celebration is key to the advocacy efforts of the Council, and we are very grateful for the support provided by our members and industry friends. We hope to have you as our guest for a first-class, engaging evening that you will want to share with friends, family and co-workers this coming year.
