2026 Annual Meeting Reception & State Legislative Breakfast

This year's Annual Meeting Reception event takes place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, and the annual Legislative Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, which is a chance for members to "meet and greet" with their state legislators and get an update on the issues impacting the state regarding agriculture and other ag-related issues.

The Georgia Agribusiness Council hosts three main events throughout the year: Annual Meeting & Legislative Breakfast, Agribusiness Classic Clay Shoot, and Harvest Celebration. Learn more about each below.

Annual Meeting & Legislative Breakfast

Each year, the Annual Meeting Reception and Legislative Breakfast are held together in Atlanta. The annual meeting is a more personal gathering of members where we present the current events pertaining to ag, and more specifically, how we are addressing those issues. This reception is an opportunity for members to connect with other members, become educated on the issues, and to see how they can get more involved. This event is typically held in Atlanta, Georgia, during the current year's legislative session.

The Georgia Agribusiness Council's annual Legislative Breakfast, is held in Atlanta, Georgia each year, which is a chance for members to "meet and greet" with their state legislators and get an update on the issues impacting the state in regards to agriculture and other ag-related issues. The Governor, Lieutenant Governor, House Speaker, Agriculture Commissioner and a host of other elected state leaders have all been past speakers. This event takes place each February when the Georgia General Assembly is in session.

Harvest Celebration

Harvest Celebration is the focal event of the year for agribusiness in Georgia. The evening unites leaders from every agriculture sector and corner of the state in a festive salute to the industry. In November, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Live Auction, Silent Auction and Field of Dreams raffle, and listen to live entertainment. It is a fun evening to celebrate agribusiness and support those in our industry.

Harvest Celebration is hosted by the GAC Foundation, the 501(c)3 partner of the Georgia Agribusiness Council, and contributions directly benefit initiatives that support agriculture education, research, leadership develop, and agriculture policy studies.

The Agribusiness Classic

During the annual Agribusiness Classic Clay Shoot, we celebrate and support Georgia Agribusiness through fellowship and sporting clays. This year, the Georgia Agribusiness Council will host our 3rd Annual Agribusiness Classic Sporting Clays Tournament on Wednesday, May 1st at Meadows Gun Club in Forsyth, GA.
